About the Nowruz pack

The Nowruz pack is twenty audio-reactive visuals in spring green, turquoise, gold and white for the Persian New Year at the spring equinox. The calm visuals open on the new-year spread, shown as close-ups: a dish of sabzeh sprouts tied with a red ribbon, a white hyacinth lit tier by tier, two goldfish circling a round glass bowl, and a gold-beaded mirror between two candles. Then craft and nature take turns: termeh silk with gold boteh, minakari enamel, an orosi window throwing coloured light on the floor, an almond branch in bloom, a last snow melting off a green hill, and a glide up a garden water channel between cypresses.

The lively visuals bring the fire-jumping night as abstract fire: four bonfires catching along a dark meadow, arcs of sparks leaping over the flames, and sparks streaming up into a turquoise night, then a hollow that cuts from night fire to green morning. Swallows wheel round the spring sun, and mirror shards turn in a kaleidoscope. Every visual moves with the music: the kick flares, leaps or steps forward, the bass breathes the light, highs glint like dew and sparks, and the drop floods the frame. There are no people, script, flags or emblems.

Do the visuals react to live music?

Yes. Every visual listens to the sound as it plays: the kick, the bass and the highs each move something on screen. SYQEL Desktop works alongside your DJ software or any music player. Pick a sound source, like a microphone or your computer's audio, and the visuals follow.

How much is the Nowruz pack?

$25, one time, and it is yours to keep. It is also included with All-Access. Pro, Deluxe and Elite subscribers already have every pack.

Can I change the Nowruz visuals, or make my own?

Yes. In SYQEL Desktop, open any Nowruz visual in your Library and adjust its pulse, colors, brightness and how strongly it reacts to the sound, then save your own copy. You can also import your own shader code and Milkdrop presets, and describe a new visual for the AI to create. AI visuals are sold separately from the packs: you get 2 in total on the free plan, and AI credits from the store add more. Pro, Deluxe and Elite subscribers keep their monthly allowance. Bought credits never expire. All-Access gives you every visual pack and nothing else: watermark removal and AI visuals are sold separately.

Can I play it offline?

Yes. Once you own the pack, its visuals play in SYQEL Desktop without an internet connection.
