About the Winter Solstice pack

The Winter Solstice pack is twenty audio-reactive visuals in deep night blue, silver, candle gold and evergreen, and it follows the solstice itself: the longest night, then the light coming back. The calm visuals hold the long dark: star trails wheeling over spruce tops, a Candle Ring on snow, the Cold Moon over misty ridges, an ice crystal melting into a gold sun, the low sun of the Short Day, tapers in a draft, aurora curtains, rime-buried Snow Ghosts, a Spiral of Lights, Dusk and Dawn on either side of the night, Still Snow and a Sun Pillar.

The lively visuals carry the return of the light: a glide through the star field, a Citrus Garland of dried orange slices, Star Blossoms opening over the snow, ice crystals glinting in a shaft of low sun, an Evergreen Mandala, bands of Returning Light rolling across the snow, an avenue of snowy spruces toward a warm glow and an Orbital Dawn finale. Every visual moves with the music: the kick flares the candles or sends out a wave of gold, the bass breathes the glow and the drop brings the sun up. It is astronomy, nature and candlelight, with no figures or symbols, so it welcomes everyone.

SYQEL Desktop on Mac or Windows. Buy the pack here with the email you sign into SYQEL Desktop with, and its 20 visuals show up in the app.

Do the visuals react to live music?

Yes. Every visual listens to the sound as it plays: the kick, the bass and the highs each move something on screen. SYQEL Desktop works alongside your DJ software or any music player. Pick a sound source, like a microphone or your computer's audio, and the visuals follow.

How much is the Winter Solstice pack?

$25, one time, and it is yours to keep. It is also included with All-Access. Pro, Deluxe and Elite subscribers already have every pack.

Can I change the Winter Solstice visuals, or make my own?

Yes. In SYQEL Desktop, open any Winter Solstice visual in your Library and adjust its pulse, colors, brightness and how strongly it reacts to the sound, then save your own copy. You can also import your own shader code and Milkdrop presets, and describe a new visual for the AI to create. AI visuals are sold separately from the packs: you get 2 in total on the free plan, and AI credits from the store add more. Pro, Deluxe and Elite subscribers keep their monthly allowance. Bought credits never expire. All-Access gives you every visual pack and nothing else: watermark removal and AI visuals are sold separately.

Can I play it offline?

Yes. Once you own the pack, its visuals play in SYQEL Desktop without an internet connection.
