About the Chinese New Year pack

The Chinese New Year pack is twenty audio-reactive visuals in red, gold and warm lantern light, for Lunar New Year parties, restaurants and community celebrations from mid-January to late February. The calm visuals are rich and detailed: rows of Red Lanterns at three depths, winter plum blossoms in snow, a red silk Lucky Knot with a long tassel, a night Koi Pond under lantern reflections, gold-leaf cloud scrolls on red lacquer, ink-wash mountains with gold mist, and a lacy red papercut with light shining through.

The lively visuals bring the festival noise: Dragon Scales rippling in red lacquer and gold, a bronze gong struck with rings of light, lion-dance pompoms bouncing with little bells, strings of firecrackers crackling on the kick, Dragon Dance chasing a pearl, and a Lantern Kaleidoscope turning round a gold heart. Every visual follows the music, so the drop lights the far lanterns, opens the peony or sets every firecracker going. The pack uses no lettering, deities or faces, so it celebrates the festival's own colour and craft.
