Setting up OBS audio source

When OBS captures SYQEL, it gets the picture only. For your stream to have sound in step with the visuals, OBS has to listen to the same audio SYQEL does.

1. In SYQEL, check which source is selected in the top-bar audio source picker, for example your DJ mixer, audio interface or virtual device.
2. In OBS, under Sources, click + → Audio Input Capture, and choose that same device.
3. Play some music. The OBS audio mixer should move along with SYQEL’s Input meter.

If you already use OBS’s Desktop Audio or Mic/Aux source, open its properties (the gear or three dots next to it in the Audio Mixer) and set its device to the one SYQEL uses instead of adding a new source.

If you hear the music twice, or it echoes, mute the extra sources in the OBS audio mixer so only one carries your music.

On SYQEL Desktop, if SYQEL listens to App Audio or System Audio, add your music to OBS with OBS’s own app or desktop audio capture.
