How to add your DJ name, logo, sponsor and Now Playing overlays to your stream

Overlays sit on top of your show. Open Overlays to set them up. There are six, one on each number key, plus the ticker.

3	Countdown	”Starting soon” with a timer
4	Logo	Your logo in a corner
5	Sponsor	A “Presented by” tag with your sponsor’s logo
6	Full Intro	A full-screen title card for the start of your show

Logo, Sponsor and Full Intro use your own images, so they need a paid plan. See pricing.

Set up an overlay

1. Open Overlays.
2. Click the overlay you want.
3. Fill in its text. For example, type your name into DJ Name Tag.
4. Turn it on. It shows ON AIR while it is on screen.

Style it

Every overlay has the same style controls:

• its size;
• its position on screen;
• its corners and glow;
• its color.

Logo and Sponsor

1. Click Logo, or Sponsor.
2. Press Upload and pick an image. PNG, SVG, JPG and WebP all work. A transparent PNG looks cleanest.
3. For Sponsor, type the label and the sponsor’s name.

During your show

Press the number keys 1 to 6 to show and hide overlays. Press 6 to bring up your intro. Press it again and it is gone. You can also map overlays to your controller. See Hotkeys and MIDI.

Tips

• Start your stream with the Countdown on, so viewers can gather before the music starts. See Add a countdown timer.
• Keep the DJ Name Tag on for the first few minutes, so people who join know who is playing.
• For scrolling shoutouts, use the ticker. See Add a scrolling ticker.
