How to send your DJ visuals to a projector, OBS or VJ apps with NDI and Spout
SYQEL Live is built for streaming. It can also feed the screens around you, at the same time.
All of this is on the Streaming page, under Venue output. Every output starts off.
| Output | What it does |
|---|---|
| NDI | Sends your picture over your network to Resolume, OBS, vMix or any NDI receiver |
| Spout (Windows) | Shares your picture with VJ apps on the same computer |
| Syphon (Mac) | Shares your picture with VJ apps on the same Mac |
| Fullscreen | Puts your show on a projector or a screen of its own |
Send over NDI
- Open Streaming and find Venue output.
- Turn on NDI network stream.
- In your other app, pick SYQEL Live as the NDI source.
Share with VJ apps on the same computer
- Under Venue output, turn on Spout (Windows) or Syphon (Mac).
- In your VJ app, pick SYQEL Live as the source. No network is needed.
Fullscreen on a display
- Connect the projector or screen.
- Under Venue output, choose the display.
- Turn on Fullscreen on a display. Or press O.
- Press O again, or Esc, to close it.
Tips
- NDI, Spout, Syphon and the stream are up to 1080p. Fullscreen on a 4K display draws at the display’s full size.
- Venue outputs use extra computer power. Check your FPS in the top bar when you turn one on.
- If you only want visuals on the room screens, without streaming, SYQEL Desktop is made for that.
