How to go live on Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Mixcloud at once, with a countdown
Once your sound, stage, visuals and destinations are ready, going live is one button. One stream goes out to every destination you switch on.
Before you start
- Start your music. The BPM should show in the top bar.
- Check the preview. That is what your viewers will see.
- Under Stream to, switch on each destination you want for this stream. The ones you leave off say Off for this stream.
- Turn on Record too if you want a copy. See Record your stream and take snapshots.
You set your quality once, for every destination. See Pick your stream quality.
Go live
Press Go live with countdown. The badge counts down from five, so you have a moment to get ready. Changed your mind? Press Cancel countdown.
Or press the big start button to go live straight away. It says Start stream for one destination, or Start multistream with the number of destinations.
When you are on air, a red LIVE timer counts up from 00:00:00.
Check your stream
Each destination shows its live status, its bitrate and any dropped frames. The Streaming page shows your total upload and your stream’s health.
End the stream
Press End stream. Every destination stops together, and the app goes back to Standby.
Tips
- Some platforms, like Mixcloud Live and X, need you to press Go Live on their page too.
- If one platform drops, the others keep going. SYQEL Live keeps trying to reconnect the one that dropped.
- Want a “Starting soon” timer on screen while viewers gather? Use the countdown overlay. See Add a countdown timer.
