How to record your DJ live stream to MP4 and take snapshots

SYQEL Live can record your show while it streams. The recording is the same picture and sound your viewers get: stage, webcam and visuals. No extra recording or screenshot tools to set up.

Record your set

1. On the Live screen, press Record too before you start. It changes to Recording armed.
2. Press Start stream. The status goes LIVE, and the recording starts with it.
3. Press End stream. The recording stops and is saved.

To record every time, turn on Record when I start on the Streaming page.

Where it is saved

• Windows: your Videos folder, in SYQEL Live.
• Mac: your Movies folder, in SYQEL Live.

It is an MP4 file, ready to post.

Record without streaming

Switch off every destination, and turn on Record too. The start button changes to Start recording.

Take a snapshot

1. See a moment you love? Press Snapshot.
2. SYQEL Live saves exactly what your viewers see, as a PNG picture.
3. It goes in your Pictures folder, in SYQEL Live, and the folder opens.

Tips

• Recordings are up to 1080p, at the quality you stream at.
• Long sets make big files. Check you have free disk space before the show.
