Making music videos to upload rather than streaming? SYQEL Desktop →
On YouTube a stream keeps working after it ends, as a replay people find later, so it should look good on the second watch too. SYQEL Live sends YouTube a show built from your camera, a virtual stage and visuals that move with each part of the music. Sign in with your YouTube account, or paste the stream key from YouTube Studio, and go live. The same show can go to other platforms at the same time. If you want music videos to upload rather than streams, SYQEL Desktop is the better fit: it records a set with visuals in four formats.
Go live on YouTube with SYQEL Live
Turn on live streaming
YouTube asks each channel to enable live streaming once. The first time can take up to 24 hours, so do it before your first show.
Connect YouTube
Sign in with your YouTube account so Live fetches your stream key, or copy the key from YouTube Studio’s Go live page and paste it. The key stays the same between streams.
Set the stage and go live
Turn on your camera, pick a stage and press Go Live. Live records a copy on your computer while it streams.
A replay worth watching
Visuals that follow the music keep the recording interesting after the live audience has gone.
YouTube and the rest
Stream to YouTube and to Twitch, Kick or Mixcloud Live at the same time, from one app.
Up to 1080p at 60 fps
Live suggests 1080p or 720p at 30 fps based on your connection, and offers 60 fps when you want it.
Branded on a plan
Add your logo and images to the stream with a paid plan, so the replay carries your name.
Stream to more than one platform
SYQEL Live sends the same show to every platform you add, at the same time. How to connect each one:
Free to try. A plan takes the watermark off.
Stream free with the SYQEL watermark in the booth, with every visual pack. A SYQEL Live plan is $25 a month or $249 a year. For one show, a $20 Gig Pass covers 24 hours in SYQEL Live and SYQEL Desktop.
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I go live on YouTube yet?
YouTube has to enable live streaming on your channel first. Turn it on in YouTube Studio; the first time can take up to 24 hours.
Can I make a music video to upload instead?
SYQEL Desktop is made for that. It records your music with visuals in four formats at once. SYQEL Live records too, but it is built around streaming on camera.
Does YouTube allow the music I play?
That is YouTube’s decision, based on who owns the music. SYQEL does not change how YouTube treats copyrighted tracks.
